Founded in 1980, the Colegio Oficial de Psicólogos (Spanish Psychological Association) is the national body officially representing the interests of the science and profession of psychology.
During these years of the development of specialization in psychology we have seen many changes, one of the most important being the emergence of organizations and services specifically for psychologists.
The main objectives of the Association are: support for members and the representation and defence of their interests in society; the promotion and improvement of psychology as a profession; establishing and maintaining the ethical principles of psychology and psychologists.
The Association organizes activities and provides services to over thirty thousand members throughout the year.
