Default International Convention on Coaching (ICC) Announced

Over the last two years a number of practitioners in the field have been quietly working to bring together key bodies from across psychology and coaching to create an equivalent of the Boulder Conference (which shaped clinical practice in psychology for a generation). This event was publically announced at the 1st International Conference on Coaching Psychology this week.

Now renamed the "International Convention on Coaching" the convention organisers will be drawing together Associations of Professionals interested in the field and individuals with something to contribute. A series of working groups over the next year will draw together ideas to contribute to working papers that can inform practice. The second week of July 2008, will see a gathering over five days to review this work and consider steps forward.

If you represent an association that represents coaching or coaching psychology or would like to contribute get in touch with David Lane David.Lane@pdf.netfrom The Professional Development Foundation. David will put you in touch with the Convention.
